
Home Makers of Hope started in 2008 when Pam Stamey learned about a family of five in Eastern Hillsborough County who slept on the floor of their small apartment because they lacked beds. Stamey and her friends delivered beds to this family, and they didn’t stop there. Now, the non-profit organization has more than 200 volunteers who serve 450 low-income families a year with beds, furniture, dishware, and décor.Most of all, they give families hope …
