One of the Catholic Foundation’s top priorities at the request of our Bishop is to secure more funding for tuition assistance for our schools. We have accomplished this through a variety of tuition assistance programs seen below. Over the past 12 years, we have helped the schools of our diocese secure more than $7,000,000 in tuition assistance; however, the need is still great. Despite all of our efforts, there are still a number of children who can’t access our Catholic schools simply because their family can’t afford to send them to a place that provides a faith-filled and quality education that will help guide these students for the rest of their lives.

Match Grant Program

The Match Grant Program is our original tuition assistance program which is designed to assist our schools in raising funds for tuition assistance.  For every dollar received by the schools, the Foundation provides a 1:1 match up to the maximum amount per school. Special High School Tuition Assistance Fund

The Special High School Tuition Assistance Fund provides assistance to high school students whose families have experienced a significant loss of income or have multiple siblings enrolled at one of our Catholic schools and need a little extra help. Bridge Scholarships

The Bridge Scholarship program assists low-income families in accessing the Catholic school of their choice. Students eligible for a tax-credit scholarship sometimes still cannot afford to attend one of our schools.  We help bridge the gap between the total costs and what the tax-credit scholarship provides.
