David Jones

David Jones brings more than 33 years of experience in financial services to his work with clients. Since 1992, he has served as a financial advisor and was asked in 1998 to become a limited partner of Edward Jones in Tampa, FL. Jones earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of South Florida. He has also earned the CFP® and AAMS® professional designations, as well as the RIA license. Currently he is a regional leader with the firm and is responsible for leading the Edward Jones branch offices in the Tampa metro area. In the community, David serves on the Academy of Holy Names Board of Trustees, the Grand Lodge of Florida Endowment, and the Investment Committee Board for the Catholic Foundation, Diocese of St. Petersburg. My past involvement includes service as president of both the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce and the Tampa Interbay Rotary Club, a board member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Florida board of Gift of Adoption. David is a parishioner of Christ the King, having ushered there for about 28 years. Since May 2019, David has served on the Catholic Foundation Board.
