Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance programs enable students and their families the ability to take full advantage of a Catholic school education that they so desire. Over the past 12 years, the Catholic Foundation has helped the schools of our diocese secure more than $7,000,000 in tuition assistance; however, the need is still great. Despite all of our efforts, there are still a number of children who can’t access our Catholic schools simply because their family can’t afford to send them to a place that provides a faith-filled and quality education that will help guide these students for the rest of their lives.

The Catholic Foundation funds tuition assistance through two key programs. The first, the Match Grant program established in 2004, is now matches tuition assistance funds allocated from operating budget of the Diocese. The second program, the Bridge Scholarship established in 2013, provides tuition assistance funds for our Catholic schools actively engaged in recruiting families through the Step Up For Students Scholarship program.
