The Catholic Foundation works with our partner agencies to provide funding for those that are in need throughout our Diocese. Read more about two that we partner with below.
If you want to help these organizations continue to serve those in need using a tool like an endowment, charitable gift annuity, IRA charitable rollover, or other gift planning option, we can help. If you prefer to make a direct donation to them, please feel free to visit their site directly by clicking on their logo below and help them to make a difference today!
Catholic Charities, Diocese of St. Petersburg
For more than 70 years, Catholic Charities has been a leader of mercy serving the poor and vulnerable throughout the Diocese’s 5 counties and beyond through 3 umbrella ministries: Shelters of Hope, Friends in Need, and Foundations of Life. Within these 3 ministries, Catholic Charities provides services including but not limited to homeless shelters, affordable housing for the elderly, poor families, migrant farmworkers and those afflicted with HIV/AIDS; provides medical care to the poor, respite care to those suffering with Alzheimer’s or dementia, housing, financial and faith-based counseling, and assistance to immigrants and refugees; and supports women facing the difficulties of pregnancy, providing life options counseling for birth or adoption as well as education and support until their baby is one year old.
Since 1986, Spirit FM 90.5 has been bringing the Tampa Bay community closer to Christ through its award-winning programming. Each day, tens of thousands of listeners throughout the Tampa Bay area tune-in to provide their families with an uplifting source of entertainment that is safe for their entire families. But don’t confuse “safe” with boring! Spirit FM has been recognized both locally and nationally for the quality of its programming, that continues to reach out to those that are in great spiritual need and for those searching for the peace that can only be found in Christ Jesus.
The Catholic Foundation works to support many other Catholic organizations, both in and outside of our Diocese through our Legacy Programs. If you have a particular interest in an area of support or specific Catholic organization, we invite you to call us or send us an e-mail to begin the conversation.
